I have been divinely nudged to write this article, before the onset of increased attention, through the much hyped “Stars Wars VII ~ The Force Awakens” film, about to release worldwide soon. Skellig Michael, a sacred site off the west coast of Ireland, is believed to be prominently featured in some of the scenes. I first heard of the filming on Skellig Michael last summer; I have to admit my heart was conflicted by what felt like possible disrespect on some level, of a very sacred place. I am Irish native going back many generations on both sides of my ancestry. Though I am not currently residing there, I am very connected to the land as this is part of my own planetary mission as an earth grid keeper and energetic steward. I, and many other spiritual pilgrims seeking connection with God/source, have held this ancient island in reverence through the ages and I am passionate about honoring the sanctity of our planet’s holy place & spaces. My heart is compelled to share some of it’s spiritual legacy & history to enable a deeper connection and understanding of the power (force) that in encoded in the land there. Skellig Michael is the larger of two ancient towering majestic sea crags, that are pyramidal in their structure. “Little Skellig”, is the adjacent smaller peak. The islands are situated 12km off the south west coast of Ireland in the wilds of the Atlantic Ocean. Many believe they are mountain peaks from the atlantean era, still carrying the energies of those times both dark & light. It is a natural temple where two intersecting earth leylines cross, creating a node of energy that is very powerful. The island was the chosen home of a small group of ascetic monks back in the 6th – 13th Century, who sought deeper communion with God in isolation from the outside world. The remains of this monastery are still intact; the stone beehive geometric structures are alive with spirit evoking energies imprinted in the stones from these devout hermits. You can definitely imagine the “force awakening” within you here! The islands are designated as a world UNESCO heritage site, so there is a limit to daily visits due to the delicate nature of the archaeology, protected sea birds and plant life. Through many tumultuous journeys there myself, I know it is not an easy task to get there! Often the boats that leave the nearby villages of Portmagee & Valencia in the Iveragh peninsula, Co. Kerry, are challenged in the choppy waters and large swells. It almost seems that the island chooses who it wishes to allow step onto it’s timeless rocky landing. Sometimes they are cancelled altogether when mother nature sings her wild songs. If you are called to go, definitely check in on the weather and surrender to divine flow. When Visiting Skellig Michael: I invite you to tune into this powerful place and ask why you are drawn to it. Here are some tips to prepare for a journey to a sacred site that I find useful:
Skellig Michael is on the western edge of the european landmass. It is the first sacred site along a long line (leyline) of ancient pilgrimage places running from the entry point or pinnacle point of the leyline in Ireland through the UK (Glastonbury, St.Michaels Mount), France, Italy, Greece then onto Mt.Carmel in Israel. This line is known as the “Michael” Leyline through it’s alignment with ArchAngel Michael who the guardian and overseer of this energy line. It was known for thousands of years before the advent of Christianity, and linked many holy places of earth and cosmic power. It was known as the “Atlas Line” in Atlantis; much of the energetics of this ancient leyline are said to have been largely kept in tact by the work of the druids and key grid keepers since the fall of Atlantis. On a planetary level, this island, as a multi-dimensional portal, is pivotal to the integration of the divine masculine codes for humanity’s evolution. The energy that emits from this portal extends in all directions for hundreds of miles. It is a point of cosmic energy and earth merging as one. As such it can be a place of merging the polarities in oneself ~ male/female rebalance. The colour rays that emanate, for those attuned, are the violet, emerald & blue rays. The moment I caught my first glimpse of these spectacular pinnacle points from the land on the Iveragh peninsula, I was mesmerized. The sheer power and sharp angles of these dramatic peaks took my breath away and tuned me into an ancient place within me. I felt compelled to get my feet on that holy ground. It is in the sanctuary of these natural high, spiritual energy places that we can access the inner sanctum of our being and open to more of our divine potential. These physical locations can act as a cosmic trigger to awaken and activate us to the remembrance of who we are and we are here. My first journey was steeped in ancient remembrance every step of the way; these dramatic peaks took my breath away, my inner eye seeing blazes of light of violet and emerald hues on the approach. The boat ride out was an initiation in itself and shook out the cobwebs (literally in feeling sick and nauseous)! I was then taken into a deep silence as I felt my heart and mind merge as one with the landscape. I remembered this place. I felt at home. The consciousness of the whales, dolphins and seals added to a very transcendent experience. George Bernard Shaw, a famous Irish playwright, described Skellig as “incredible, impossible, mad place” and as “part of our dream world”. I definitely concur on all of those descriptions. The stone guardians are abundant on the island, with some aptly named by their lifelike appearance. The “Wailing woman” , who sits on the first incline up the nearly 700 stone steps to the top of the crag, drew me into council with her. My energy body receiving the information of the island I needed to navigate it’s spaces with care and gentleness. You then come to “Christ’s saddle”, a flat area between the two peaks; here is another good place to connect in with the spirit of the island. The south peak is closed to visitors due to the steep climb. The north slope above the monastery is where I connected most, bridging the inner and outer of my being, as well as in some of the beehive cells in the monastery, due to the domed beehive geometry lending itself well to divine introspection! There is a vast array of energy available here, through all the seen and unseen. I would simply be open and listen to where you are personally drawn.  We are infinite beings who made a choice to be here on earth right now, whether we are conscious of that or not! Most of us have been around this "eternal" incarnation block a good few times now :) We came to make a difference and to help build a more integrated, balanced and unified world. A world where all beings are free to be and live in harmony. At least, my soul knows this to be true, even if at times my mind tries to tell me it is not when it gets fooled by the outer illusion of doom! Sometimes, it can feel like the craziest choice ever in the chaos of all that is unfolding on our planet right now. As things fall apart, we are driven to simplify and to source our true roots. To reconnect with nature to help us find equilibrium and truth (our inner nature). Our physical roots come into greater focus as survival issues bring up ancient buried fears within our hearts. In these times, we can look for ways that support us to live a healthy, balanced & happy life (nature; nourishing foods; supportive family, expressing our gifts...). The roots we came from in our ancestry; both our blood and soul lineages, become valuable sources of information for us to heal and find new solutions to old issues. We can draw from the past wisdom; taking that which is helpful for NOW and letting go of the rest. With love and gratitude for those that paved the many roads before us. I know my own journey, has had me chase down every hidden crevice in my ancestral line energetics; so that I am free from carrying in my DNA, any unresolved issues inherited through my blood & soul lineage. Doing this allows greater soul expansion and a freedom to move beyond our ancestors level of consciousness, thus elevating the whole soul group. In this work, I have rediscovered hidden treasures of gifts I had forgotten that were lodged deep in the ancestral memory bank. I also received magical contact from the other side supporting my current mission on earth. I tell you, it's been a giant dive into the underbelly of unhealed trauma and buried memories too. I have been consciously clearing both my mother and fathers' lines energetically for nearly 6 years now and still there is more to integrate. I have been through traumatic past life/ current life healing processes; reclaiming parts of my soul that have carried ancestral pain from long ago. This naturally flowed into helping others initiate the work in their own lives and through that I helped facilitate karmic resolution between various ancestral souls. It is so important to do this work consciously. It shifts realities for whole family constellations. It can bring miraculous healing and light to those that are suffering. It can also avalanche and topple the most complex repressed structures in a family so that the healing can begin. It opens a gap in the family matrix so the light can get in and work it's magic! The soul lineage is another huge area of reconnecting with the ancestors of our root races on earth and integrating the collective group karma's in our being. Most of us have probably incarnated into each of them and experienced life from all these aspects, therefore the prominent themes to heal and integrate in our hearts would be those of victim/poverty consciousness; slave/master roles; persecution in all forms; separation from homeland; immigration; war & catastrophe. I know this may feel like an insurmountable task, but it really does become a domino effect once you begin. Little by little, in perfect timing , the various issues come into view that need your conscious presence and heart intention to heal. Sometimes, just a clear heart intention to see, heal and integrate your ancestral karma is enough to get started. Listen deep to what you need to do. It may be clearing some old energies in the home or letting go of some family "heirlooms". This is an individual and personal journey. Always trust your inner guidance. Always love and gratitude to the ones on whose shoulders we stand. May peace be with the ancestors of all races and nations. And so it is. Mara LuaSa - Solstice Dec'12  A Channelled Heart Message through Mara Luasa: Mother Mary Speaks Beloved Children of my heart, I wish to speak to the wave of grief, confusion and anger that has swept across the hearts of humanity as result of a number of incidents of violence across the globe yesterday particularly. Please understand that these precious souls had made a pre birth contract to come in to this incarnation and be of service in this noble and brave way, particularly the children. My heart aches with compassion for all that have been affected by these seeming atrocities and are struggling to find their centre and keep their hearts open and out of Human judgement. For in Judgement we are only damaging ourselves. We must find the middle way and strive to surrender all back to the mother for transmutation. For it is these dramatic incidents of violence that are ultimate and timely wake up calls to the deficiencies and cracks that lie in the hearts of humanity at this time. These are the focus moving forward ; fixing, healing and loving these unwhole parts within ourselves. As whole being’s we do not seek to destroy ourselves or others. We are in peace and dwell in the divine. This is where our focus MUST be. Do not give up on yourselves or the human race. You are being shown the darkness to make whole within yourself primarily. By apportioning blame, however difficult it may be to your human heart at this time, you are blaming yourself. These incidents are not external to you but an integral part of the human experience that is begging to be healed and integrated on a collective level. Stay within your sacred heart blessed children. Hold the higher perspective in all incidents. Stay with and in compassionate heart centered awareness for the human experience yet do not be side-tracked by Fear and hysteria. Now is the time to Nurture Yourself and truly Be-Come the Heart of who you are, holding the frequency of love for all beings without judgement. Know that all of you my beloved children are held in my eternal embrace. You are all eternally supported now as we move into Thee time of miracles. Hold the White Rose upon your heart and let it soothe all the pain of separation and purifying all that is not love. I love you and thank you. |
